Do you have chronic lower back pain OR chronic migraine?

Participants Wanted a Research Study to Examine the Efficacy of Smartphone Apps

You are invited to participate in a research study investigating the effectiveness of two free smartphone apps in helping with pain. Participation involves two in-lab study sessions, daily engagement with a smartphone app for 30 days (10 minutes/day), and completion of a 15-minute weekly online survey. Each in-lab study session should take no more than 1.5 hours and will consist of a finger-prick blood sample, behavioral task, and survey completion (e.g., mood, thoughts, and feelings). A smartphone will be provided to complete daily app exercises. Participants will receive up to $100 for completing the study. Study sessions will be conducted on the University of Connecticut Storrs campus. This study is approved by the UConn IRB (protocol #H20-0165).

To be eligible to participate:

1) Have chronic lower back pain and chronic migraine

2) Must be 18 or older

3) Fluent in English
